Symptoms of herpes type 2 (genital herpes). As in the Type-1, most people do not recognize any symptoms of genital herpes infection, or be confused with other conditions.
The virus comes in contact with the genitals through secretions in sex.
What are the signs and symptoms of genital herpes?
• In men, the vesicles are visible in the sexual organ (penis) as the most affected areas of the glans and foreskin.
• In women are affected more the lips of the vulva, perineum and cervix, this makes it difficult to identify the infection because these areas are not exposed.
• Vesicles may be preceded by both women as in men, low-grade fever.
• Itching or burning in the area where will the first injury.
• Malaise.
• Fatigue and nodules in the groin (glands slab).
• The vesicles evolve into pustules, crusted and disappear between 14 and 21 days.
