What is heart failure? Heart failure is when the heart decreases the ability to pump blood around the body.

Symptoms of heart failure:

• Persistent cough.

• Shortness of breath either walking, climbing stairs or physical activity.

• Swelling in the legs, feet or ankles.

• fast or irregular heartbeat.

• Fatigue at the effort and when the picture is very advanced, at rest.

• Fatigue or general weakness.

• Rapid weight gain.

• Nausea.

• Little appetite.

diagnosis:
• To diagnose heart failure studies are needed blood, urine, x-rays and an echocardiogram, which uses sound waves to image the heart in motion.

• However, periodic checks are the best way to diagnose it, so to visit a cardiologist unless the endocrinologist the most frequently requested should be once a year.
