
What should a first aid kit?
• Paracetamol: Has antipyretic action (reduces fever) and analgesic (pain fights).
• Aspirin is acetylsalicylic acid, analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory. No children should be provided.
• Sterile Gauze: To clean, cover wounds ... They have overtaken cotton as it leaves fibers adhering to the wound. Best in 4-5 or single-dose packages, the open boxes bear no sterility.
• Thermometer: Digital for convenience.
• Tweezers: Must be metal, flat and toothless. Serve to remove foreign bodies (earth, dirt, thorns, splinters) of wounds and gauze used to grip ...
• Mild soap: To clean small wounds. Look at neutral pH and do not put general use only kit.
• Hydrogen peroxide: Better than alcohol, which provides oxygen, is a good disinfectant and stings. And it is very helpful in curing oral diseases (sores, swollen gums ...).
• Cold Spray: For bumps, swellings ... another option is to make an ice pack. It is stored in the freezer and used when necessary, is a good anti-inflammatory.
• Bands: The more comfortable and safer option is the elastic, securing the area to be treated with more comfort.
• Ibuprofen: highly effective anti-inflammatory. For headache, rule, throat, teeth ... Antipyretic.
• Anti-inflammatory Cream: Very useful for confusion. Penetrates little and is only recommended in cases of superficial injuries.
• Scissors: They should be rounded. They must be clean.
• Band-aids: wash the wound, apply a little hydrogen peroxide, in some cases apply some ointment and bandaged with the Band-Aid.
